Editorial policy
Modern Daily Bulletin aims to make public language easier to examine. We distinguish what a text says from what we infer, explain the basis for our interpretation and correct material errors openly.
Accuracy and context
We check quotations and descriptions against the material being discussed and preserve enough context for readers to understand the point. We do not treat a striking phrase as proof of a wider claim. If an example is ambiguous, we describe the ambiguity instead of presenting one reading as certain.
Independence and corrections
Editorial choices are made for reader interest and relevance, not to serve a partner. If we find a factual error, we correct it and make the change clear where appropriate. Readers can send correction requests through the Contact page; useful details help us locate and assess the passage.
Partnerships and illustrations
Paid or partner-supported material is labelled so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee a favourable account. Some illustrations are AI-generated; when used, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary evidence.
