Write for us
Modern Daily Bulletin welcomes pitches about the language and design of public messages. Send a concise proposal through the Contact page, with the subject, the angle and why a general reader might care.
What we want to read
Strong ideas start with a specific text, phrase or communication choice and open into a useful explanation. We are interested in close reading, comparisons, histories and clear accounts of why a wording choice helps or confuses. Keep the subject distinct from advice that requires professional or local-rule interpretation.
Make the pitch concrete
Name the example or kind of material you want to examine, state the central question and sketch the main points you would cover. Explain how you would establish context and distinguish observation from interpretation. If the proposal depends on access, permissions or specialist knowledge, say so.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then include your pitch in the message field. A proposal is not a promise of publication. Please send an outline rather than an unsolicited complete manuscript, and do not include confidential or personal information.
